Hello everybody!
I am Neslişah Yılmaz.
I was born in Bursa-the capital city of the fashion and textile industries in Türkiye.
I obtained my B.Sc in Fashion Design and Textile Technological Design in Textile Industry from the prestigious Marmara University.
I have two international patents in textile technology and was awarded as one of three women selected as the national representatives in the global entrepreneurs’ competition.
I co-founded Barrus London in 2014 and my designs were the center of attention at London Fashion Week many times.
The name ‘Barrus’ means elephant in Latin, it symbolizes power, loyalty and good luck.
Barrus London presents all the qualities to make you feel confident, stylish, mysterious and beautiful. Until today, Barrus London put on catwalk shows London Fashion Week, Thailand Fashion Week and individual shows in Istanbul.

My designs were mainly eveningwear at the beginning. We then added an exclusive bridal collection. Today, Barrus London carries eveningwear, bridal and business collections and the most recent addition is B by Barrus, our casualwear line.
Our atelier and Istanbul showroom is in Nisantasi. We sell at Selfridges, Harrods, Wolf and Badger physical and online stores in London.
I have to addd that our designs are also on ‘The Market’ in New Zealand. We will be selling on ‘Zalando’, by the time you are reading this first issue of our magazine.
I just wanted to introduce myself before writing about fashion and art.I will enjoy it when I write and hopefully, you will enjoy it when you read.
